1. Choose a plan and pay

Your workspace becomes available after Paddle confirms payment. Your plan, billing interval, tax, and final amount are shown before you pay. A demo does not start a paid subscription or charge your card.
You see the exact quote before confirming. The new plan applies immediately after Paddle accepts the change and any payment due succeeds. Paddle credits the unused value of your old plan against the new plan for the remaining billing period. You pay only the difference shown in the quote. If the change creates a credit instead, Paddle applies it to your subscription balance or a future charge; it is not an automatic cash refund. Your old plan is replaced, so you never run two plans for one workspace.
Cancel in Billing at any time. Your plan stays available through the date shown there, and no new renewal is scheduled. Cancellation alone does not refund the current period. You can request a refund separately.
If you have not canceled, Paddle attempts to charge your saved payment method for the next month or year on the next billing date shown in Billing. A successful payment renews your subscription automatically.
Paddle retries the payment. While the subscription is past due, your workspace remains available and we show a payment warning. The workspace owner can update the payment method in Paddle. The warning disappears after Paddle confirms payment.
If payment recovery fails or a scheduled cancellation takes effect, access to the workspace stops. The owner can continue the previous plan or choose a different one. A successful new payment restores the same workspace, team, and records. We retain workspace data under our account retention policy; ending the subscription does not immediately erase it.
You can submit a voluntary refund request in Billing within 14 days of the latest captured subscription payment, including a renewal or a paid plan change. After that, the in-app request closes. We review the payment history and reply by email. A request does not cancel your subscription; you can cancel renewal separately.
Eligible consumers in the EU, EEA, Switzerland and UK may have a 14-day right to withdraw from the first subscription payment and receive the full amount paid for that transaction. In the UK, an annual auto-renewal can start another 14-day withdrawal period. Other countries have different rules, and business purchases do not automatically have consumer withdrawal rights. Prior express consent to start using some digital content may affect withdrawal rights. If you are eligible, the voluntary calculation below does not reduce your legal entitlement. Use the withdrawal option in your Paddle customer portal when available, or contact Paddle through your receipt or Paddle support.
For a voluntary refund requested within 14 days that Paddle accepts, we calculate the unused portion of the current paid period: eligible amount actually paid × unused time ÷ total paid period, rounded to the nearest cent. We subtract refunds or credits already given for the same time. We use the payment and plan-change details in Paddle, including any prorated credit from an upgrade, so the same unused time is never refunded twice. This may be a partial amount; it is never more than the refundable amount paid for the transaction.
Example: if you paid $30 for a 30-day period and request an approved refund with 10 days left, the unused value is $10 before any earlier credits or refunds. Taxes and final payment amounts are handled by Paddle and can affect the final figure.
We show you the calculation and decision by email. A request within 14 days does not guarantee a voluntary refund: Paddle may approve the full amount, approve part of it, or decline it. If approved, Paddle returns money to the original payment method where possible and access to the refunded subscription ends. Closing our in-app form after 14 days does not remove statutory rights, claims about billing errors or service defects, or the option to contact Paddle directly.
